FoundTech Privacy Policy
This policy describes how Foundational Technologies, LLC, a Wisconsin limited liability company based in Appleton, Wisconsin (“FoundTech,” “we,” “us”), handles personal data in connection with our websites, including fullvue.io, and our FullVue service. We build software for small businesses, not an advertising business: we do not sell personal data, we do not use it for targeted advertising, and we do not buy data about you from data brokers.
Two Different Roles
We handle data in two distinct roles, and your rights differ between them:
Data we collect for ourselves. When you visit our websites, request a demo, start a trial, or do business with us, we decide how the resulting data is used, and this policy governs it directly.
Your FullVue workspace. When a business subscribes to FullVue and creates a workspace, anything it puts into that workspace — employee records, customer lists, jobs, invoices, messages, files — belongs to that business and remains under its control. Each customer workspace runs against its own dedicated, isolated database. We only process workspace data on the customer’s behalf and instructions, as described in Section 10 of the FullVue Subscription Agreement, and we never use it for advertising or sell it. If your data is in another business’s FullVue workspace — for example, your employer or a company you hired — that business controls it, and privacy requests about it should go to that business; we will forward any request we receive to them promptly.
Personal Data We Collect
Data you provide to us:
a) Trial signup: company name, your first and last name, work email, phone number (optional), company size, and the modules you select.
b) Contact and demo requests: name, company, email, phone (optional), and your message.
c) Billing and account management: the contact and billing details needed to administer a subscription. If and when payments are collected online, payment card details are collected and processed by a PCI-compliant payment processor and are not stored on our systems.
d) Support and correspondence: the contents of messages you send us.
Data collected automatically:
e) Server logs: IP address, request details, and timestamps, used for security, rate limiting, and troubleshooting.
f) Analytics: we use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how our websites are used (pages visited, approximate location, device type). See Cookies below.
How We Use Personal Data
We use the data above to:
a) provide, secure, and troubleshoot our websites and the FullVue service, including provisioning trial workspaces;
b) respond to your requests and provide support;
c) administer accounts, billing, and renewals, including required renewal reminders;
d) send service and account communications, and — if you have inquired about or use FullVue — occasional product news, which you can opt out of at any time via the link in the email or by contacting us;
e) understand aggregate website usage to improve our products and content; and
f) comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
We do not use your personal data for targeted advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not combine it with data purchased from third parties.
When We Share Personal Data
We share personal data only with: service providers who process it on our behalf under contract, limited to what their role requires — website hosting and form processing (Netlify), analytics (Google), cloud infrastructure that hosts customer workspaces, email delivery, SMS delivery, and, when applicable, payment processing; professional advisors such as accountants and attorneys under confidentiality obligations; authorities when required by law or valid legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of FoundTech, our customers, or others; and a successor in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case this policy continues to apply. A current list of our service providers is available on request through our contact form.
All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Cookies and Analytics
Our websites use a small number of cookies and similar technologies: Google Analytics cookies that help us understand aggregate site usage, and any cookies strictly necessary for a page to function. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can block or clear cookies using your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on; the site keeps working either way. Because some browsers’ “Do Not Track” signals have no common standard, our sites do not respond to them — but since we do not sell personal data or track you across other sites, there is nothing such a signal would need to switch off.
Accessing, Updating, or Deleting Your Personal Information
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data we hold about you, or a copy of it in a portable format, by emailing sales@foundtechsolutions.com or through our contact form. We extend these choices to everyone regardless of where you live, we will respond within 45 days, and we will never treat you differently for exercising them. We may need to verify your identity (typically via the email address on file) and may retain what the law requires us to keep — typically records needed for administration, billing, and tax reporting.
Customer workspaces: businesses using FullVue can manage all data in their workspace at any time using their administrator credentials, including modifying or deleting any personal data stored there, and may request deletion of their entire workspace as described in the Subscription Agreement.
Data Retention
We keep personal data only as long as it is reasonably needed for the purposes above: inquiry and prospect data until you ask us to delete it or it is no longer useful; expired trial workspaces are retained for 30 days and then scheduled for permanent deletion; when a paid subscription ends, workspace data is available for export for 30 days and permanently deleted within 90 days, except records we are legally required to keep for billing and tax purposes.
How We Protect Personal Data
We take security seriously and apply measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data, including encryption of data in transit, dedicated isolated databases for each customer workspace, access controls limiting who at FoundTech can reach personal data, and confidentiality commitments from everyone at FoundTech who processes it. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but if we confirm a breach affecting your personal data, we will notify affected customers promptly as described in the Subscription Agreement and applicable law.
When FoundTech Accesses a Customer Workspace
Being straightforward about this matters more than sounding reassuring, so: yes, we can get into a customer’s FullVue workspace, and here is exactly how and why.
Every workspace contains one account belonging to us, labeled as FoundTech, and it is visible in the customer’s own user list. We use it to diagnose and fix problems, to confirm a fix actually works in that customer’s environment, and to look at configuration or data when someone tells us something is wrong. We do not use it to monitor how a business is doing, to look at anyone’s data out of curiosity, or for sales or marketing. Its password is unique to each workspace, so one credential does not open any other customer’s system, and sign-ins and changes made through it are recorded in that customer’s own activity log where they can review them.
Separately, running the service means we administer the servers and databases that host each workspace, and automated processes read workspace databases to check health, capacity, and usage. That is part of hosting the software rather than something a person does.
A customer can ask us to disable their FoundTech account by writing to sales@foundtechsolutions.com. Support continues either way, but without it we cannot look at a problem directly, so some issues take longer or need a scheduled screen-sharing session instead. Section 5 of the Subscription Agreement sets this out in contract terms.
Children
Our websites and services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children; if you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Text Messaging (SMS) and FullVue
FullVue is a product of Foundational Technologies, LLC (“FoundTech”). FoundTech provides messaging technology that businesses use to send SMS to their own customers—typically account notification messages such as job status updates. The business you hire or work with (the FullVue customer) is the party collecting your phone number and securing your consent; FoundTech processes and delivers messages on their behalf as part of the FullVue service.
If you receive SMS as an end customer of a FullVue user: Your service provider should obtain your consent using disclosures that include: that updates include account notification messages; that message frequency varies; that message & data rates may apply; that you may reply HELP for assistance and STOP to unsubscribe; and that your contact number will not be shared with third parties for their marketing or other purposes. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Many programs include a confirmation message to which you may reply with a keyword (such as YES) to confirm opt-in. To opt out of further messages, reply STOP. For help with the text program, reply HELP. Questions about your job, account, or service should be directed to the business that uses FullVue to message you.
If you use FullVue to message your customers: You are responsible for obtaining legally sufficient consent and for your communications with your customers. FoundTech provides the platform and technical delivery as described in your agreement and documentation.
No sharing of SMS opt-in data: Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent obtained for messages sent via FullVue are not sold or shared with third parties for their own marketing or unrelated purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
